Pinsent Masons advises M Group Services on its buyout by CVC

Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has advised M Group Services, the leading provider of essential infrastructure services in the UK and Ireland, on its sale to private equity house CVC.
CVC Fund IX will acquire the business from private equity house PAI Partners. The transaction is expected to complete in Q3 2024.
A team at Pinsent Masons was led by corporate partner Tom Leman and senior associates Joshua Willis and Emma Dawe. Alongside providing corporate and M&A advice, the firm supported M Group Services on a wide range of matters to ensure the success of an extensive vendor due diligence process including commercial contract and HR advice, deploying project management support to ensure the success of the transaction.
M Group Services has experienced rapid growth since 2018, with total revenues increasing from £1 billion to over £2 billion today. In support of this strategy, the Group has acquired and successfully integrated 14 complementary businesses since 2018. Pinsent Masons has advised M Group Services on each of these acquisitions.
