I qualified in New York and I wanted to complete my training in a law firm that is truly international. I knew Pinsent Masons from an introduction evening at University of Edinburgh and thought that it would be an exciting place to work. The firm has set itself apart from others in Ireland for being well-connected and global.
I joined the firm in May 2019, and first impressions were incredible! The office is stunning and modern, and the atmosphere feels different to any other law firm – everyone took the time to welcome me. Joining the Dublin office at this early stage also feels exciting as there’s incredible potential to grow our presence in Ireland.
I completed my first rotation in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications team. I was involved in various commercial contracts and data protection projects and had the opportunity to work on a high profile project, using technology and automation to provide a streamlined solution to EBA contractual compliance on a large-scale basis.
As a Trainee Solicitor, I’m getting broad, well-rounded experience across different departments and under different partners.
What really makes this a great place to work are the people and if I had to sum up Pinsent Masons in three words, I would say innovative, international and inclusive.
