Our internship is the perfect introduction to Pinsent Masons for those wanting to launch a legal career with us.
Working alongside our lawyers and trainees on real client projects, you will enjoy structured work-based learning, skills training and presentations.
You will gain full exposure to a few practice areas, allowing you to form strong team relationships, getting deeply involved with their work and gaining relevant experience while enjoying an unexpected level of responsibility. You will also have the chance to attend onsite training and events and get involved in social activities.
If you don’t meet the above minimum academic criteria but you have mitigating circumstances, there’s an opportunity for you to include this information in your application form.

Every intern will be paid at a standard rate of RMB230 for each day worked, or at an increased daily rate of RMB400 during contract extension. The firm will not be responsible for social benefits payment.

Whatever the outcome, we will let you know after your interviews. If you meet our core capabilities and perform well throughout the interviews, we will offer you an internship.
As part of our recruitment strategy, we strive to recruit trainees from those who have interned with us. Therefore, candidates who would like to be considered for our trainee programme are strongly encouraged to apply for our internship.

Whilst we do not prohibit first year students from applying, we would encourage students to intern with us after having developed a solid foundation at law school.
The duration of each internship contract is 3 months, subject to extension on an additional 3-month basis. Every intern will be required to work minimum 3 days per week.
