Matthieu represents French and international clients before civil, commercial and arbitration courts in multi-jurisdictional disputes. His expertise focuses particularly on defective products in the energy and construction industries.
His area of expertise is also focused on the art (looting of artworks by the Nazis during WWII), automotive, technology and retail sectors and commercial disputes (commercial agent disputes, termination of commercial relationships...).
He also assists clients with the enforcement of domestic and foreign judgments as well as for peri-arbitration disputes (enforcement of arbitration awards, annulment proceedings...).
Matthieu is a graduate of Queen Mary University (London) where he obtained an LLM in International Arbitration. He lectures in the Master II International Business Law at the University of Nancy.
