International law firm Pinsent Masons has been named as one of the top ten family friendly employers in the UK by work life balance charity, Working Families.
Pinsent Masons is the only law firm listed as a leading employer for the second year after securing a top ten place for the first time in 2017.
Work life balance charity, Working Families, benchmarks organisations across the UK that lead the way in building family friendly and flexible workplaces. Public, private and third sector businesses compete annually to gain a place on the list.
Head of Responsible Business at Pinsent Masons, Kate Fergusson, said: "We are delighted to be named as a top ten family friendly employer again by Working Families. This demonstrates the firm's commitment to providing modern working environments and practices that are conducive to working parents and carers.
"Our focus on agile and flexible working patterns and shared parental leave creates a foundation that supports parents and carers working at Pinsent Masons. But it doesn't stop there. It's crucial that we always evaluate and review our day-to-day practices to ensure we are fostering a supportive environment for all our people."
Earlier this year the firm launched a working support group for fathers in the business. Furthermore, the firm's gender diversity initiative, Project Sky, remains a core focus as the business strives to create a better gender balance across the firm's partnership and senior leadership team.
