Find out if your business is in scope of the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD)
The CSDDD introduces a general framework for sustainability due diligence for large EU companies and non-EU companies with significant EU business activities. It is more than a disclosure regime, as it also places a duty on in-scope companies to address specific adverse human rights and environmental impacts in their chains of activity.
Thousands of large companies with EU business operations will be in scope of the CSDDD. To enable you to understand whether your company is in scope of the CSDDD, we’ve created this scoping tool which will ask you a few questions about your business operations.
If your parent or subsidiaries are in scope of the CSDDD, then Pinsent Masons can help you to comply. Our Climate & Sustainability team is advising both EU and non-EU entities on their obligations under, and relating to, the CSDDD and applicable national laws. Our work brings together both lawyers and consultants to help you to understand and meet the requirements of the CSDDD regime as well as to support the practical implementation required.
