Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has advised World Athletics on its agreement with Box to Box Films and Netflix for the production of a new sports series tracking top sprinters from across the world.
The firm advised on various aspects of the deal including the licensing of commercial rights, obtaining sub-licences from commercial rights holders and securing access to venues to allow filming.
The Pinsent Masons team was led by partner and global head of sport, Trevor Watkins and senior associate, Scott Oxley.
