International law firm Pinsent Masons has further enhanced its international life sciences and technology sector capabilities with the appointment of Nicole Jadeja in its London office.

Nicole will be joining from Fieldfisher, where she was the co-head of Life Sciences.

Nicole is a market leading life sciences lawyer and patent litigation specialist. She is recognised in the market as representing a wide-range of companies across the life sciences sector, including high-profile companies in commercially sensitive multi-jurisdiction patent disputes and innovative biotech companies developing cutting edge technologies. With a scientific background and experience in clinical trials, Nicole is well placed to understand and advise clients on issues relevant to the sector.

As a partner within Pinsent Masons' Life Sciences team, Nicole will work alongside the strong team of patent litigation specialists, led by Clare Tunstall, on cutting edge pharmaceutical cases.

Clare Tunstall, Head of Life Sciences at Pinsent Masons said: "Nicole's appointment is testament to our continued investment in appointing talented individuals who enhance our capabilities in servicing our international client base. Nicole's depth of experience and knowledge of the Life Sciences sector will both complement and enhance our offering. We have a growing international team who advise across a range of IP, transaction and regulatory matters and we look forward to welcoming Nicole to this."

Nicole is Vice Chair of the IP committee of the BioIndustry's Association and a member of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorney's life sciences committee. Recently, Nicole advised both organisations on their successful intervention in high-profile life sciences cases before the UK Supreme Court.

Florian Van Baum, Head of the Advanced Manufacturing and Technology sector adds: "Nicole's reputation as a market leading practitioner who brings deep sector knowledge and expertise will add invaluable strength to our team. Her diverse experience supplements Pinsent Masons' international Advanced Manufacturing and Technology sector and is a fantastic addition to our Life Sciences team."

Nicole's appointment continues the expansion of Pinsent Masons' international Life Sciences team and follows the firm's recent recruitment of Michael Finn in the firm's Dublin office. In addition, Legal Director and Intellectual Property specialist, Jules Fabre, has now relocated to the firm's office in Paris. Here he will work with clients in the Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical sector on complex French and cross border patent and SPC litigations.
