Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has been named the Most Innovative Law Firm in Europe and won the Energy & Security Transition category at this year’s FT Innovative Lawyer Awards.
Securing the top spot for the third time, following its wins in 2020 and 2015, the firm was celebrated for its work across range of disciplines including digitalisation, client experience and energy transition.
The firm also won the Energy Security & Transition category with energy partner Gareth Phillips taking home the gong for his work advising Island Green Power and Low Carbon on an innovative and collaborative approach to the delivery of solar energy in the UK.
Senior partner at Pinsent Masons, Andrew Masraf, said: “Securing Most Innovative Law Firm in Europe and taking home an award for our innovative and collaborative approach to energy transition work is testament to the firm’s creativity in and commitment to evolving the way in which legal services are delivered.
“It’s clear that professionals across our business are leading the way in reimagining the way in which we grapple with the complex and strategic issues that matter to our clients and the communities in which we operate. Congratulations to everyone who won and was shortlisted for an award – it’s a significant achievement for the legal services industry as a whole. Given what we’ve seen and heard about generative AI, next year’s awards are likely to be even more competitive.”
