The new office will be comprised of a team from the main Paris office of Marccus Partners, the legal arm of Mazars, with the founding partners being: Christoph Maurer (Office Head, Corporate / M&A), Christophe Clerc (General Manager, Public and Private M&A), Pierre Forget (Restructuring and Litigation), Emmanuel Gougé (IP/IT), Anne-Laure Fonade (Real Estate), Pierre François (Finance), Jean François Rage (Employment), Antje Luke (Corporate / M&A) and Nathalie Sinavong (Litigation and Arbitration).
This second international opening in three months follows Pinsent Masons' launch in Munich, Germany, on 1 July. Both offices will link closely with the UK and all international offices of Pinsent Masons in delivering core legal services to international businesses.
Chris Mullen, Senior Partner at Pinsent Masons said, "I am delighted to be launching our second European office within the last three months. Opening in France has always been a key step in our international growth. Not only is it Germany's major trading partner, France is also a conduit for investment in north and sub-Sahara Africa from the EU, China and the Gulf. Central to our global sector approach, the new office puts us in a strong position to capture more in and outbound work across Europe and provides a key link with our clients in the Gulf and Asia."
Dr. Christoph Maurer, who will head up the new office said, "All of the founding partners of the new office are excited to joining Pinsent Masons. By being part of an integrated international firm, we are able to provide our clients with a wealth of marketing leading advice and support in France, Europe and worldwide."
