Our two-year trainee program is thoughtfully designed and structured to provide you with a practical and enjoyable experience that truly mirrors the daily activities of our lawyers. You will collaborate with lawyers at various levels on real client projects, benefiting from structured work-based learning, skills training, and engaging presentations.
If you don’t meet the above minimum academic criteria but you have mitigating circumstances, there’s an opportunity for you to include this information in your application form.

Salaries are benchmarked against market rates for international firms in Mainland China and reviewed each year. This ensures that, alongside the outstanding trainee programme we offer, we also deliver an attractive and competitive remuneration package.
Our recruitment process for this programme includes the following steps:

All applications are screened to a pre-defined framework and shortlisted candidates who best demonstrate that they meet our criteria will be contacted and invited to attend an interview with one of our lawyers and member of the HR team.
Whatever the outcome, we will let you know after your interview. If you meet our core capabilities and perform well throughout the interview, we will offer you a place on our trainee programme.

We carefully control the number of trainees in the business to maximise retention and to make sure that it meets our business requirement. We run a fair and transparent selection process. Our HR team works with the business to identify which roles are available. The recruitment process is centrally managed and includes interviews and technical skills assessments. The outcomes will be based on your performance at assessment and throughout your trainee programme. This gives you every opportunity to further your career with a leading, well-respected firm in your chosen area of law.
Unfortunately, we can only consider candidates who have graduated or would have obtained their degree by the time they join us. We also expect you to work on a full-time basis once being offered.
Yes, we welcome applications from candidates with a law degree, regardless of whether you are a recent graduate or not.
No, while it is not necessary for you to be qualified in any overseas jurisdiction(s), we appreciate candidates who are overseas qualified to apply to us.
