I joined the team in 2010 as maternity cover as a Senior Bids Executive.
Why have I stayed so long? Firstly, because the people around me believed in me and helped me develop the skills I needed to perform. Secondly, I've had a few different roles, which provided me with varied challenges over the years - because of Pinsent Masons varied markets, technical skills required or people management. Thirdly, because people have listened and empowered me to change myself, the team and the firm. I wanted somewhere I could put down roots and grow.
If I was the candidate today, I would say read what Pinsent Masons does in terms of diversity and inclusion. Our culture and how we look after people is what marks us out. Pinsent Masons is not the finished product. But what you see on the outside is absolutely indicative of what you can expect when you start to work here.
