AI in our justice system

We are delighted to invite you to the launch of JUSTICE's report on AI In Our Justice System, hosted by Pinsent Masons. JUSTICE is a cross-party law reform charity working to build a fairer UK justice system.

Join us for a panel discussion where our group of experts will explore some of the topics addressed in the report, including:

• responding to the emergence of powerful AI technologies over recent years,
• analysing various opportunities and risks AI technologies pose in our justice system, and
• proposing a framework to embed the rule of law and human rights in AI innovation in our justice system, to help navigate this terrain.

The report will be launched with a panel of experts, including Sophia Adams-Bhatti, public policy and human rights expert, author of "Algorithms in the Justice System: Current Practices, Legal and Ethical Challenges"; The Rt. Hon Sir Geoffrey Vos, Master of the Rolls and Head of Civil Justice in England and Wales and Dan Squires KC, leading public law and human rights barrister; counsel for the appellant in R (Bridges) v CC South Wales [2020] EWCA Civ 1058).
