The latest Infrastructure Leaders of Tomorrow (ILOT) Leadership Skills event will feature a special guest speaker, Brigadier Joe Fossey OBE.
Brigadier Fossey, a distinguished British Army Officer from the Corps of Royal Engineers, brings 27 years of military experience. He recently served as Head of Capability Strategy within the Ministry of Defence’s General Staff.
Drawing from his extensive background in Military Engineering, Brig. Fossey will explore the parallels and distinctions between leadership in Military and Civil Engineering, offering attendees valuable insights into the diverse leadership skills required in various contexts.
We will delve into the leadership challenges within multi-disciplinary teams, focusing on the skills needed to lead such teams, particularly in war zones, and the important aspects of managing across diverse cultures and backgrounds.
