In part 3 of the Complete TUPE series we explore what must happen before the transfer and what can happen after it: consultation, dismissals, and strategies for changes to terms and conditions.

Agenda

  • Is dismissal before or after the transfer automatically unfair?
  • Deemed dismissal based on substantial changes in working conditions following the transfer
  • What is an "ETO" reason for dismissal?
  • Harmonisation: what can a transferee do?
  • When is change for an ETO reason or no longer related to the transfer and legally valid?
  • What information should be provided to representatives about the transfer?
  • What does genuine consultation involve?
  • Protective award risk

30 person limit per course.

Discounted rate of £399 per person for all three TUPE modules.

Please contact Hayley Dalton to enquire and receiving the discounted rate.

The complete guide to TUPE is a series of 3 interactive workshops that will enable HR and commercial managers to handle, with confidence, issues that arise on a change of service provider.

Each workshop explores the risks involved, for both the transferor and transferee, and how best to mitigate and manage those risks.

We aim to deliver engaging, informative online training and use various techniques such as breakout rooms, polling, Q&A and online chat to encourage participation.

While these sessions will be interactive, if participant numbers exceed 20 per session, we may not be able to respond to all the points raised individually due to the number of people attending and time.

TUPE Module 1: Considering whether TUPE applies or not at the outset

TUPE Module 2: Which employees transfer & what costs/liabilities come with them?
