UK Government employment reforms review – Part Two – Collective rights

Following release of four consultations which provide more detail on the UK Government’s proposals, we have scheduled this additional session to focus on changes coming down the line for employers which relate to collective rights.

Key challenges are likely to include:

  • What will proposed changes to protection around collective redundancy and restrictions on ‘fire and rehire’ mean?
  • Reforms around trade union laws will give unions access to many more workplaces and make it easier for them to achieve recognition.
  • A remodelling of the industrial relations environment will also strip out some of the blockers and hurdles for unions taking industrial action.

Employers will have to adapt to these new provisions, which do represent a sea-change for many workplaces. We’ll talk about how best to start planning for real change and our interactive discussion will give attendees the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the practical implications with our expert speakers.

Who should attend?

This session will be of interest to HR professionals, line managers and in-house legal teams.
