20 November is International Children's Day. First celebrated in 1954, the day draws attention to children's fundamental rights, and strives to remind us that even today, in Luxembourg, there are children living in vulnerable situations, facing deprivation, and coping with disability.
Help us support charities and express your generosity to provide these children with joy and comfort for the end of this year.
Toys (no soft toys), books, puzzles, board games, indoor and outdoor items, electronic items like consoles, video games, sports equipment (no shoes or clothing), school equipment, bicycles, scooters... in perfect working order (new or second-hand).
The collected toys will be split between the different charities supported by the initiative on the basis of the needs expressed.

The association aims to support families of children, teenagers and young adults suffering from cancer. This is achieved by providing moral, psychological, and palliative care as well as by defending their interests and supporting cancer research.
The association specialises in temporary global care of children and young people up to 18 years old from outside their family of origin. At their facilities, they collaborate with parents supporting them in their efforts towards a positive, conscious, and responsible parenthood. The outpatient service of the elisabeth group (SIPO) offers socio-pedagogical assistance to families, early help to support the overall development of young children, as well as guidance, psychological assistance, and psychotherapy for young people. The various services are offered both on the premises of the outpatient service, and through mobile support, throughout the Grand Duchy, direct to the families’ homes.
The Kannerschlass Foundation offers a wide range of support to children, teenagers, and their parents. They provide therapeutic and social care in addition to preventive services.
Foyer Sud – ‘Fraen an Nout’ is a day and night shelter for women in distress with or without children.
Founded in 1996, Stëmm von der Strooss works for the social and professional integration of disadvantaged people. Up until now, its activities have focused almost exclusively on the adult community, but 2021 was different. With the establishment of the Kanner Stëmm service, the Stëmm vun der Strooss is now able to help the youngest members of society. The Kanner Stëmm works alongside pediatricians at its centre in Luxembourg city.
TABA allows the reintegration of people in difficulty by repairing, cleaning and sorting second-hand toys donated. These toys are available to children from underprivileged families directly at their centre in Walferdange.
