Katie Lo
Senior Associate
Katie specialises in contentious IP work with a particular focus on life sciences patent litigation, advising clients on national and pan-EU rights. Katie's experience also expands across other IP rights, including trade marks, design rights, advertising and regulatory issues.
Katie advises clients on contentious IP matters, in particular for pharmaceutical clients in the patents space. She has been involved in co-ordinating pan-European patent litigations for large pharmaceutical companies and has significant patent trial experience having assisted with hearings and trials in the UK and across Europe.
She also has experience in the consumer product/retail sector, having assisted a medtech company with their brand protection and enforcement programme in Europe across all areas of IP, including patents, trade marks, design rights, regulatory and advertising issues.
Katie sits on the firm's CSR committee and various diversity and inclusion networks, taking a leading role in focusing on gender and race diversity and mental health and wellbeing.
