Phoebe specialises in restructuring and insolvency, advising corporations, directors and insolvency practitioners on business restructuring, formal insolvencies and recovery actions. Phoebe is a professional member of the Australian Restructuring, Insolvency & Turnaround Association and committee member of the Women's Insolvency Network Australia (NSW) (WINA NSW).
Phoebe has extensive experience advising on business restructuring and formal insolvencies (both corporate and personal) across a range of industries, including construction, manufacturing, insurance and real estate.
Some examples of Phoebe's experience include providing advice to insolvency practitioners throughout the administration and liquidation process, including advising about employee and creditor claims, enforcement and challenges to personal property security interests, drafting deeds of company arrangement, conducting public examinations, commencing/defending insolvent trading and voidable transaction claims and working collaboratively with private and government litigation funders.
Phoebe is a professional member of ARITA and holds an ARITA Advanced Certification in Insolvency from the University of Technology Sydney. Phoebe is also a committee member of WINA (NSW) and is a member of the Turnaround Management Association. Phoebe is a past finalist of the Lawyers Weekly, 30 Under 30 Awards (Insolvency Category) and Women in Law Awards, Senior Associate of the Year (Big Law).
