Stewart is a member of the pensions risk transfer team, advising trustees, employers and insurers on all aspects of buy-in transactions. He also advises trustees on the process of moving schemes to buy-out and wind-up with a particular interest in seeking opportunities to streamline the buy-out process.
He is also a leading member of the firm’s public sector pensions practice, advising on transactions with a public sector element, with a focus on the local government and healthcare sectors.
He is qualified as a solicitor in Scotland, England and Wales.
